Amanda Wrigglesworth was born on June 5, 1991, in Battle Creek, Michigan. From an early age she harbored a love of performing, as well as a passionate interest in television and movies. After joining the Drama Club in sixth grade, she went on to participate in several skits, which she did not only with the club, but for 4H and other activities as well. Participating in middle school prepared her for what would be a significantly higher interest and workload in high school, where she scored roles in several school productions, including the lead in "The Rented Christmas" in her Senior Year and the female lead in "A Christmas Carol" while in 11th grade. In addition to acting, she also hopes to pursue a career in directing or cinematography. She was in her high school's offered Broadcasting course (covering directing, editing, and scriptwriting of all genres of filmmaking), and was the executive producer for her school's DVD release of "A Christmas Carol." Although Amanda has many other interests (she is interested in politics, linguistics, and global studies, and her favorite subject besides Broadcasting is her Calculus course) and participates in several activities (4H Club President, SADD, Youth in Government, and others), her first passion has remained the movie business, which she has completely dedicated herself to studying in the hope of becoming the best she possibly can be, by means of both practice and by learning everything she possibly can about the various types. After graduating in spring 2009, Amanda plans to attend college with a double major in Acting and Film, with a minor in Political Science. She currently resides in Michigan.

Recipient of school awards in math, science, english, social studies consistently throughout middle and high school, won "Most Outstanding Senator" Award for Youth in Government (11th grade), won multiple awards in 4H for several years.

Most importantly, Amanda is interested in acting (with additional interests in directing and cinematography). Some of her other interests are: math, astrophysics, government and politics, music (she has played the trumpet - she named hers Donald - for 7 1/2 years, and is in Orchestral, Marching, and Pep band), and more. She is also interested in many political issues and current events, and is a member of a variety of activism groups, such as the Peta2 Street Team, CARE, Save Darfur, and more.

In her career in the movie business, Amanda hopes to:

* work with one of the many actors she admires (Lilly Tomlin, Allison Janney, Claudia Black, Sandra Oh, Emma Thompson, Bruce Willis, Peter O'Toole)
* work under the direction of one of the directors she finds most entertaining and inspiring (Garry Marshall, Peter DeLuise, Brad Silberling, Peter Jackson)
* find work in several feature films, including as a lead role
* act in a television show (she admits her favorite genre is Sci Fi)
* direct at least one movie or television episode
